La Salle County Library

This public library in LaSalle County, Texas was completed highlights Rheinlander Architects' ability to create efficient, community-focused spaces in rural areas. The project demonstrates our expertise in rapid design and execution to meet urgent community needs.

What We Did

We developed a non-combustible construction design using CMU walls with light gauge metal roof trusses, creating a durable and low-maintenance structure. The client decided to add this project to an existing project already underway, requiring our team to design and produce construction documents within an extremely tight four-week timeframe. We rose to this challenge, leveraging our well-established processes and seamless team collaboration to deliver high-quality plans on schedule.

The library serves the population of a rural town, providing essential educational and community resources. Our design focused on creating an inviting, functional space that would meet the diverse needs of the local community. This project exemplifies our ability to respond quickly and effectively to client needs while maintaining high design standards.
