This skilled nursing facility demonstrates Rheinlander Architects' expertise in creating efficient and resident-focused care environments. Our design incorporates a unique K-Plan layout with double courtyards, maximizing natural light and outdoor access for residents.
Designed for smaller communities with limited budgetary resources, this plan allows for more beds per square foot. This resulted in a 138-bed facility that balances operational efficiency with resident comfort. The K-Plan design creates multiple outdoor spaces, enhancing the living environment and promoting resident well-being. We integrated a large Physical Therapy area with a dedicated Dayroom and Dining space, as well as PT elements in the courtyard. This innovative layout not only supports comprehensive rehabilitation programs but also encourages residents to engage in outdoor activities as part of their recovery process.
Our design seamlessly blends functional healthcare spaces with comfortable living areas, demonstrating our commitment to creating environments that support both physical recovery and quality of life for residents in skilled nursing facilities.
