Master Planning

The Master Planning phase is not only essential in creating clarity about the end goals for your projects, but also in anticipating future challenges and unknowns.

Rheinlander Architects' extensive experience in Master Planning buildings and communities has been vital to numerous clients in defining clear and sensible approaches to phased development that maximize resources and takes advantage of opportunities.

In 2010, our approach to Master Planning helped The Army Residence Communities expand an existing 33-acre Continuing Care Retirement Community into an 121-acre community with enhanced amenities, living options, and continuing care services with the purchase of an adjacent property.

Prototyping

While Custom Architectural Design will always be the mainstay of the work we provide, with more than 35 years of experience and more than 200 completed projects, Rheinlander Architects has built a substantial design library.

Prototyping allows clients to tap into our library as a way of accelerating the design and construction documentation process.

This process involves the adaptation of previous successful projects into new, refined designs, fast-tracking the design process following clear parameters that result in a smooth project path. The process limits construction changes which raise project costs. Prototype designs are an innovative process which can help you save time and money.

Construction Administration

Acting as the Owner's liaison, we play a crucial role, during both construction and the subsequent warranty period, to ensure a seamless flow of communication between Owners, Architects and Contractors.

This involves regular meetings to foster collaboration and resolve potential issues,  in-depth review of  submittals and shop drawings, and regular site visits to verify that everything is built according to the approved plans.

We are on-call to assist with Requests for Information (RFIs) and Architectural Supplemental Information (ASIs) when clarifications are needed.

We also review pay applications, ensuring that billing aligns with project  progress.
